This is an interesting article/letter from Steve Jobs on why Apple doesn't support flash on their mobile devices. If you're new to this information here's a quick rundown: Websites are built using many languages, Flash is one of them. Flash enables sites to utilize dynamic animations and graphics that other languages don't support. Many websites are flash-based. Lots of them. However, one of the main prloblems is that flash is not SEO friendly. Therefore, when someone's Googling to find a good restaurant, say in Hartford, if there is a restaurant site built in flash, it's not going to show up in the search query. Here is an incredible project by Candy Chang. Candy Chang is a public installation artist, designer, urban planner, and co-founder of Civic Center who likes to make cities more comfortable for people. This is a project called "Before I Die". Check out her site and enjoy some of her other projects. GO

Here is the image Eva Muraya used in inspiring the small business owners of Kenya. She mentioned how moved she was when she first saw this image, how dark Kenya/Africa was compared to the rest of the world.

She then posed the question, "Who will turn the lights on in Africa?"
