| May 24, 2010 | Chad Turner gets Locked Up for MDA
What: MDA Lockup with Local Business Leaders
Where: Carbone’s, 588 Franklin Ave., Hartford, CT
When: Tuesday, May 25th, 9am – 3pm
Chad Turner, Creative Director and Co-Founder of GO media, a boutique advertising agency in Hartford, CT, is helping raise money and awareness by participating in the MDA Lockup this Tuesday, May 25th at Carbone’s.
For the past few weeks, Turner has been asking for donations online through social media efforts and his contacts to bail him out of jail this Tuesday. He and other local business leaders from the community, will be brought to Carbone’s, put in stripes, handcuffed, and get locked up behind bars for an hour. During their hour, they can try to raise “bail” in order to get broken out of jail.
A donation of $30 will provide one flu shot, $80 will fund one minute of research, and $100 will pay for a support group session. If he can reach the $800 level, Chad will be able to send one child to MDA Summer Camp, and if he reaches $2000, all of his donors will have helped to fund 25 minutes of research.
